Manufacturing & Steel
Industrial Cleaning for Manufacturing and Steel Facilities
OSHA-compliant crews for plant floors, production areas and shutdowns, in a region built on steel and heavy industry.
- OSHA Compliant
- Licensed, Bonded & Insured
- 24/7 Emergency
- Woman Owned
The Ohio Valley grew up around steel, and heavy industry still shapes its work culture. Mz. Dawn's industrial cleaning services support manufacturing plants, fabrication shops and steel-related facilities in Steubenville, Weirton, Wheeling and the Pittsburgh region, with crews who know what a working plant is like: noise, heat, hazard signs, lockout rules and production schedules that cannot slip. Plant managers here know the difference between a vendor who has seen a mill floor and one who has not.
Dawn brings more than 25 years of hands-on experience and personally oversees projects. Our crews follow OSHA-compliant practices, wear the required PPE and attend site safety orientations. The company is licensed, bonded and insured and runs a drug-free workplace, which many industrial sites require before a vendor is allowed on property. We can handle recurring plant cleaning, shutdown and turnaround support and the offices and welfare areas that serve your workforce.
The challenge
What makes manufacturing & steel different to clean
Heavy dust, scale and residue
Metal dust, scale, grease and process residue build up on floors, ledges and equipment, creating slip, fire and housekeeping concerns.
Safety orientations and site rules
Plants require badges, PPE, training and permits. A cleaning crew must arrive prepared and follow procedure without being walked through it.
Production cannot stop
Downtime is expensive, so cleaning must work around running lines or finish quickly during planned shutdowns.
Large and awkward spaces
High bays, mezzanines, pits and tight equipment areas need the right methods and sometimes the right equipment to clean safely.
Neglected offices and locker rooms
Workforce areas are used around the clock, and they reflect how a company values its people.

We are very appreciative to all the detail that Miss Dawn and her workers did cleaning our house and basement. They were very careful around all of the breakable stuff, very professional and met all of our needs, and very trustworthy — they found money that we had set aside and made sure that we got it. A great job at a great price.

FAQ
Manufacturing & Steel cleaning FAQs
Do you work in active manufacturing plants?
Yes. Our crews are used to working in busy industrial settings. We complete your site safety orientation, wear the required PPE and coordinate zones with supervisors, so cleaning supports production instead of getting in its way.
Can you support plant shutdowns and turnarounds?
Yes. We can scale crews up for planned shutdowns with a defined scope and schedule. Contact us early with your dates and areas, and we will plan labor and equipment so cleaning finishes on time and areas return to service.
Are your employees cleared for industrial sites?
We operate a drug-free workplace and follow OSHA-compliant practices, and the company is licensed, bonded and insured. We will follow your site-specific requirements, including orientation, badging and permits. Tell us what your facility needs when you request an estimate.
Do you clean offices and break rooms at industrial facilities?
Yes. Offices, break rooms, locker rooms and restrooms are part of our industrial service. Clean, disinfected staff areas support morale and hygiene, and we handle them on a separate checklist from the production floor. These areas have their own checklist and schedule.
